We publish contemporary memoirs, overlooked literary classics, and fresh takes on literary history. We also collaborate with local artists on objects that extend the experience of a book beyond the page.

Founded by Matthew Frye-Castillo in 2026, Volupté takes its name from the French word for pleasure and delight, with roots in the Latin voluptas. The press also draws inspiration from Henri Matisse’s Luxe, Calme et Volupté (1905).
